The Buchholz vineyard is located in a fresh microclimate at an altitude of 400 metres in Salurno.
Yield: 61 hectolitres per hectare. Alcohol content: 12.4%
Vinification
70% of the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged to maturity over fine sediment for 6 months. The other 30% has been fermented and aged in French kegs (Alliers, Nevers, Tronçais) for 6 months.
Description
Brilliant, pale yellow with a lightly greenish reflection. Dry, mineral aroma with an impression of ripe fruit (much like Pouilly-Fussé). Good sweet slightly robust flavour with a lemony touch on an attractive and fruity final note.
