The company
Founded in 1996, La Vache à Maillotte specializes in preparing a variety of cheeses. Located in La Sarre in the Abitibi region of Quebec, the company now employs 35 workers in production, administration and sales. Our current capacity is 1,150 kg of cheese per work shift. Annual production rose to 381,755 kg in 2009.
Over the years, La Vache à Maillotte has developed a range of products. With time, our line of cheeses has expanded and currently we serve over one hundred sales points in the Abitibi region.
La Vache à Maillotte is “Canada approved” and currently implementing HACCP standards. According to the efforts extended, this introduction will be complete within a year or two.
Our focus is presently on a geographical and product diversification growth strategy.
